Your say

It unleashed a controversy in New York

At Ground Zero in New York, the Muslim community to build a mosque a few yards from where the Twin Towers were i pray facing Mecca. It is called Casa Cordova and officials said the city will be a good example of tolerance.
The mosque is intended to lift next to Ground Zero in Manhattan has sparked a heated social debate among New Yorkers.
This week after a vote in which the project was approved with 29 votes in favor, 1 against and 10 abstentions (which count as "no").
The mosque will not open its doors until at least 2014.

In my opinion is something a little revolutionary because the cause of the collapse of the twin towers were Arabs, that makes it rare that a mosque be built near ground zero.
